Survey places city as the second least-liked in the nation.

Lauren Sherman of Forbes Magazine talks with WTAM's Ken Robinson.

(New York)
- Forbes Magazine is out with a list of America's Most and Least Popular Cities.

The least liked is Detroit, followed by Cleveland at #2, then Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Kansas City, MO., and Pittsburgh.

Forbes reporter Lauren Sherman says Midwest cities like Cleveland did poorly in the survey because of perceived crime, lack of job opportunities, poor dating scene, and bad weather.

Sherman explains that even though Cleveland has the Indians, Cavaliers, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Playhouse Square...one of the largest performing arts centers in the U.S., it just doesn't appeal to 88% of Americans.

The most liked cities are Denver, followed by San Diego at #2, then Seattle, Orlando and Tampa.

Sherman says Denver scored high, for it's skiing, culture and bustling singles community.

The survey was conducted by the Pew Research Center and polled 2,260 adults who were representative of the U.S. population.
