Five Fired Cleveland Police Officers Returning To Work

(Cleveland) -- Five Cleveland police officers involved in the deadly shooting of two unarmed people are getting their jobs back.

Police union officials and the mayor's office say Wilfredo Diaz, Brian Sabolik, Erin O'Donnell, Michael Farley and Christopher Ereg won their grievances with the city.

The officers were fired for what city leaders said were violations of policy when they chased Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams for 22 minutes before killing them in a barrage of nearly 140 shots in 2012.

The suspensions of six other officers were upheld by an arbitrator.

Michael Brelo remains off the force after being acquitted of manslaughter in the case.
