A Christmas Story Adds "Bumpus House" Overnights

A Christmas Story House

CLEVELAND - Remember Ralphie's neighbors with the pesky pooches? The one's that swiped the family turkey?

The owners of Cleveland's "A Christmas Story" house have just announced they've purchased the Bumpus House next door.

The home located at 3153 W. 11th Street, next door to the fictional Parker house, will be renovated and begin welcoming overnight guests this fall.

Brian Jones, founder and owner of A Christmas Story House & Museum, says they "are always striving to offer new ways to make visiting Ralphie's house on Cleveland Street a unique and memorable experience."

Overnight rentals of the original house began in June 2017, and have proven to be very popular with both out of town and local guests. Jones says, the addition of the Bumpus house will allow them to offer  visitors additional lodging options."

No word if dogs will be allowed.
