Ty Lue and LeBron James after Game 1 said the Cavs needed to start strong. Within 15 seconds of the game, it was James who decided to decided to be the attacker. James outscored the Pacers 20-18 after the 1st quarter and finished the game with 46 points (three shy of his playoff record), it was James who set the tone for tonight.

Ty Lue went with a brand new starting lineup, his 32nd lineup of the season. This lineup was designed to create space with James and it was full of experienced playoff players.

Despite a wire-to-wire victory, the Cavs like they have all season had to dig deep to win this game. Late in the 4th quarter, the Pacers who was once down by 18 points made this a one possession game thanks to a Darren Collison three pointer. But with an opportunity to tie, Victor Oladipo missed a wide-open three pointer to tie the game at 95.

The Cavs will travel to Indianapolis Thursday morning. Game 3 will take place Friday night with the series tied at 1. Complete Cavaliers Coverage begins at 6pm with Cavs Now with Nick Camino followed by Cavs Tip-Off with Mike Snyder. Tipoff at 7pm for Game 3.
