Indians Edged By White Sox In Chicago

(Chicago, IL)  --  Dylan Covey took a shutout into the eighth inning as the White Sox beat the Indians 3-2 in Chicago.  Covey ended up allowing two runs on 10 hits for his third win.  Joakim Soria got the final three outs for his 10th save.  

Three different players drove in runs for Chicago, which has won two of the first three in the four-game series.  

Cleveland went 2-for-13 with runners in scoring position and left nine on base.  Trevor Bauer was tagged with the tough-luck loss, striking out 12 over seven-and-two-thirds innings of three-run ball.

The Indians will go for a split with the White Sox as they finish the four-game series Thursday afternoon at 2:10 p.m.   Mike Clevinger takes the mound for the Tribe, and Carlos Rodon for the White Sox.  Hear the game on WTAM 1100.
