(Sandusky) - A spokesman for Cedar Point confirmed to the Sandusky Register that three of the park's employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Spokesman Tony Clark said, that as per protocols, the three were tested when they arrived for work, before the park opened, and before they arrived at their work locations. The three have been referred to doctors for further testing.
Before the park opened for the summer, Cedar Point implemented a number of protocols, including requirement that all visits to the park be scheduled, face coverings are required, and health screenings are done on every park visitor and employee.
