(Lakewood) Ariel Walters appeared before Lakewood Municipal Court Judge Tess Neff on Tuesday. Walters waived a preliminary hearing, and the judge continued a $500,000 bond. The case has been bound over to Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. Walters is charged with aggravated attempted murder for the Christmas Eve stabbing of her husband, before taking off with the couple's one year old daughter prompting an Amber Alert that lasted 5 days. Walters ultimately showed up at the Lakewood Police Department on Friday with her baby and her attorney. She faces 3 to 11 years in prison if convicted. She is due back in court next Monday.
