Watch over our protector, Lord
For he watches over me
Bring him warmth and comfort, Lord
As he brings liberty

He's offered up his life, Lord
That I and mine might live
He's given to his nation
All that he has to give

Bring peace unto his mind, Lord
Just as for peace he yearns
Bring strength unto the family
That longs for his return

And if his hands should shake, Lord
We pray you'll hold him near
Cloak him in Your precious love
And help to calm his fear

Upon him shine your light, Lord
When his spirit starts to dim
Comfort him with strength and hope
That we are sending him
