(My son Colin)
It's been months since I last blogged so I feel obligated to do so on behalf of my legion of fans and because my News Director Darren Toms has been encouraging (telling) me to do so for quite some time now.
In about three weeks, my wife and myself will be proud parents of a little baby girl as my wife will have a scheduled c-section on Saint Patrick's day, if not sooner.
This will be our fifth child and will ultimately turn our house into the opening scene of "Caddyshack" when Danny Noonan was eating cereal on the run and his sister could not find a certain piece of clothing. The next 18 years of our lives our gonna be absolutely crazy but great at the same time.
Having all the children is a blessing and one that will continue to make me feel young even when I'm playing the last couple holes of life when our newborn daughter reaches college. At any rate, I will be sure to keep everyone clued in on the baby front, so stay tuned.
Ciao,
Carm
Well, things are going swimmingly in my life. If I failed to tell ya, my wife, Mary, is pregnant and we are expecting a baby girl in March. Actually, St. Patrick's Day.
We are truly blessed as little Lucia (Lucy) will join brothers Noah and Colin and sisters Samantha and Gina in the Carm and Mar Bear clan!!!!
On the work front, things are going well as my colleagues continue to make this a workplace that essentially is one of high school with paychecks.
That means this place is highly enjoyable and fun. If you could only see the great time we have at work while also staying focused and getting the job done.
In this business, you talk of so much negative material that you must find time to laugh or smile or you'll otherwise be doing something else for a living.
It was a bit of a tough football season (4-6) for my St. Edward Eagles as we welcomed new head coach Ricky Finotti to the Eagles Nest.
He's a young man who will hopefully be part of our program until the day he retires. Tremendous football mind and a man of tremendous values. Ricky's passion is also unmatched.
We are in very good hands at St. Ed's with regards to the football program. Oh, yes! My Mount Union Purple Raiders are headed to the playoffs again with hopes of winning another national championship.

Wow! It has been quite some time since I last updated my blog. As you can see, there has been an unauthorized guest blogger on my page but that is mainly because I regularly forget to update my page.
Since we last met, things have changed quite a bit in my life. My son Colin is about to turn one year old.

And BULLETIN...BULLETIN....my wife Mary is preggers again! I already have a son, Noah, (7) and two daughters, Gina and Samantha (9 and 11 respectively).
I have come to the conclusion that I will never retire but that's ok. I have the work ethic of a country mule!!!! It's all good. I recently had a tremendous honor of being the Best Man in the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Ryan and Heather Adkins.
Ryan is a young man I mentored a bit when he was a student-athlete at St. Edward High School and Mount Union College. He floored me and asked me to stand up with him on his wedding day.
Next to being called "Daddy", Ryan's request of me is the greatest honor I have ever received. He has no clue as to what it really means. He's awesome, his wife is awesome and I am much like a proud big bro in his family!
Life is great. As my brother Casey Coleman would say, "I am the luckiest guy in world!" Gosh, I quote him all the time!!

Until next time (Hopefully it's not 8 months),
Ciao...Carmen
