The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jovan Carter. Carter is wanted for a federal probation violation.
Carter’s probation violation originates from his December 2005 case of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Carter has been involved with the criminal justice system since 1995. Investigators noted that Carter has associates throughout the greater Cleveland and Akron, OH areas. Carter should be approached with caution.
Carter had an opportunity to walk through the doors of the House of the Lord Church in Akron this past week where Fugitive Safe Surrender took place. Over 1120 individuals walked through the doors for their first step at a second chance. Jovan Carter failed to do so and the United States Marshals Service’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has made him a top priority. Jovan Carter is a 30 year old black male who stands 6’5” tall and weighs approximately 225 lbs.
