Kenneth Painter is wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals for not being in compliance with his sexual offender registration. Painter is also wanted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office on charges of failure to appear. It is alleged that in August of 2005 Painter was involved in an incident where he is being accused of discharging a weapon into an occupied residence.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Kenneth Painter.

Painter is wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals for not being in compliance with his sexual offender registration. Painter is also wanted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office on charges of failure to appear. It is alleged that in August of 2005 Painter was involved in an incident where he is being accused of discharging a weapon into an occupied residence. He has never appeared in court to face those charges. Lastly he is wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on a drug charge. Painter has also been known to use the alias David painter, and Kenneth Vandergriff.

Painter is 43 year old, white male who stands 5’11” tall and weighs approximately 250 lbs. Painter has numerous contacts throughout Ohio. He has resided in the Cleveland and Canton areas. He is known to frequent the area surrounding State Road and Brook Park Road on the west side of Cleveland. Painter also may have recently fled to Knoxville, Tennessee.
