William Ramey is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Department for a Probation Violation. William Ramey was originally charged in Cuyahoga County with attempted murder. In that case it is alleged that on 05/22/2005 Ramey, while traveling in a vehicle, fired a handgun striking another vehicle occupied by the victims in the case.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive William Ramey.

Ramey is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Department for a Probation Violation. William Ramey was originally charged in Cuyahoga County with attempted murder. In that case it is alleged that on 05/22/2005 Ramey, while traveling in a vehicle, fired a handgun striking another vehicle occupied by the victims in the case. Ramey’s criminal history includes offenses for felonious assault, carrying concealed weapons, aggravated burglary, grand theft and breaking and entering. Ramey is known to carry weapons and to have violent tendancies, he should be approached with extreme caution. In a separate unrelated case Ramey is also wanted by the Brooklyn Police Department for contempt of court.

Ramey is a 30 year old white male standing approximately 5’11”, and weighing 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Ramey is known to frequent the near West side of the city of Cleveland.
