Vernon Taylor is wanted by the U.S. Marshals, and the Cleveland Police Department on charges of felonious assault, aggravated theft, robbery and burglary. In July 2009, Taylor allegedly acted with a group of three other males who reportedly attacked a male which resulted in the male suffering a broken jaw after being hit in the face with a crowbar. During the attack the victim was robbed of, among other items, his house keys. Cleveland Police have developed information to believe that Taylor then entered the victim’s home using the stolen keys and stole a number of items including a shotgun.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Vernon Taylor.

It is unknown at this time if Taylor is armed but should be considered dangerous and approached with caution.
Taylor has a lengthy criminal history which includes many offenses involving violent crimes. Taylor is 22 year old, black male who stands 5’04” tall and weighs approximately 170 lbs. Taylor lives in the 14100 block of Superior Ave. in East Cleveland and is known to frequent areas on the Cleveland-East Cleveland border as well as the 15600 block of Parkgrove in Cleveland.
