Prize Guy Personality Bio
Jeff Zukauckas is a native Clevelander and graduate of John Carroll University and St. Peter Chanel High School. He has an extensive radio background which spans the college circuit where he hosted programs, served as Station Manager, and was Program Director for 88.7 FM – WUJC. Jeff’s first commercial radio job was at 99.5 WGAR FM where he served as the Assistant Promotion Director, Board Operator, and Morning Show Punching Bag. Currently by week, he is the Promotion Director for WTAM, KISS FM, and WMMS and on the weekend, he takes on the role of one of the Prize Guys - broadcasting live from the fully-stocked, over-stuffed, bursting at the seams Big One Prize Vault on The Contest Show with Jeff and Pat – dubbed The Richest Show on the Radio!
Jeff resides in North Royalton with his wife. Away from work, He spends his free time traveling, bowling, playing golf, and watching sports and game show re-runs.
Remember, you’re nothin’ but a LOSER until you win something from The Prize Guys!

Metallica at the Q - Thursday, October 15th

Good times for all at the Metallica show on October 15th at The Q. Check out the photo from my brothers cell phone of Lars Ulrich. My only complaint about the show was that Lars put on a gay white scarf at one point. What's up with that? Someone in Metallica wearing a scarf on stage? Um. Ok.
Overall a great heavy rock show.

Lars Ulrich = A- (Lose the gay white scarf) Kirk Hammett = Nice Job dude. Robert Trujillo = WOW...nice addition to Metallica. I'm impressed. We’re gonna miss you Ed…

I ran into Ed McMahon in Las Vegas in 2003. LITERALLY ran into him as my wife and I were getting out of an elevator. What a pleasant surprise meeting him. We said, “Hey! You’re Ed McMahon!” I only wish he would have replied, “You are correct Sir!” But, Mr. McMahon did spend around 15 minutes talking to us and posing for this photo with my wife and I.
It was truly a thrill to meet one of the most iconic television personalities of all times. He was very cordial and genuinely seemed more interested in what I did for a living than talking about his high profile career. We’re gonna miss you Ed….now that you are reunited with Johnny Carson, maybe you can give the Big Guy Above your ringing trademark line, "Heeeeere's Johnny!" Only in Cincinnati....

And you thought the Bengals were bad? Check this picture out of a defaced billboard in Cincinnati. But I have to admit, I too, am a fan of Slayer....  Yep...You should have gone....Eagles on 3/24 @ The Q.

 I was blown away. The Eagles put on a simply incredible show at the Q on 3/24. Even though I was in the upper bowl of the arena, it was a very intimate show. No Opening Act - all Eagles, all night. They played two sets. Set 1 ran from 8:15 - 9:15 PM. They took a little potty break (as you get older, I hear you have to go more) and returned to the stage for Set 2 which ran from 9:35 until around 11:25. Nearly a 3 hour show and I wasn't bored once. These guys didn't miss a vocal beat. Plus I love the fact that they played some of their solo tunes as well. It was most excellent to see a collaborative effort on Henley's hit. "Boys of Summer," & all of Joe Walsh's solo hits. Good Stuff. Thumbs up! New Year’s Resolutions 2009…

I think it’s time to stop texting and emailing while I drive. Yup….that would be the smart thing to do in 2009. Who would have ever thought that would be dangerous in the first place?
I’m done. No more texting or emailing while driving in 2009. I still plan on eating while driving.
