You can catch me on the Mike Trivisonno show at the Top of the hour, 20 after, bottom of the hour, or 50 after and on Tribe insider for the Indians 7:05 starts M-F. Or if you are an intense lietener check out the 2pm & 3pm reports "boy are those something to be desired." I am also heard on the FM side of the dial 100.7 WMMS 4-6:30 w/ Maxwell and 96.5 Kiss FM w/Kasper 3:45-6:15. And there are no specific times there but you can bet that the MMS report is late, those guys can never shut up. And the occasional Xtra Innings on the BIG ONE.
Fortunately enough for myself I was able to intern for 'Big Daddy' Marty Allen in Aug of 05'. That was a journey in itself. And finally in Jan of 06' Triv was upset by a prank pulled by our PD Ray Davis. So to get back at Ray, Triv decided it was a good idea to let an intern (myself) take over the airwaves for the last hour of his show. A short time later (the next day) I recieved 5 to 6 phone calls from Marty "Beaner call me back BLEEP...I got a job for you." And as you can tell I finally got the message and took my shot with the big one. I started as a night and weekend reporter along with going out daily in our mobile units. A whole lot of fun starting out. Now I have been upgraded to getting you home from 3-7 on the Mike Trivisonno show on WTAM 1100 or dot com.
I know it's beena while since I have posted anything on my blog and it's courtsey of my new addition to the family Landon Carter Bean born on 9-28-09. After 9 months of being unsure about what is going to change and eveyrthing new that is going to happen I can say it is the best thing that has ever happened to me and my family. Being a father is the coolest thing since sliced bread. You have no idea how your life changes when you bring in a new addition to yoru family. Sleeping habits are thrown to the wind, you become more cautious in all aspects of life and you really could care less about anyone else. And ladies I have a whole new gratitude towards you. Un-freaking-belivable what you go through. I now live life waiting to go home and see what has changed. They really do grow up quickly and you can see differences daily. I now am waiting for him to get a little older so I can do much more with him and experience all the good things to come. Most of us football fans are aware of the new Cowboys Stadium Jerry Jones has built. I mean he only invested $1.15 BILLION dollars into it. I watched a special on Fox before the Titans/Cowboys game last Thursday...I think? It was interesting to see all of the construction that was done to build this prolific, enormous, building. The players entrance runs through a lower concourse where fans can see the players come to the field. A nice Cowboys HOF section which was cool to see. Hell you can even pay $30 to stand and watch the game. Better get there early with those tickets otherwise your watching the game from the back of the standing room only section watching the game on the huge $40 MILLION dollar 160' x 72' (11,520 sq. ft) High Def video scoreboard. Ticket prices are ridiculously high for decent seats and if you click here you can see what $75 can get you. I'm sure the people who have bought those tickets would like to thank the Dallas based architectural firm HKS and Structrual engineer Walter P Moore for getting the extra row of seats in behind the brick wall. But hey there only $75 a small price to pay to see absolutely nothing on a Sunday afternoon. I bet the noise is worth the price though. Just because everything is bigger in Texas, doesn't make it better....or does it?

What a Great blast that was. In one of the matches at UFC 100 Dan "Hendo" Henderson faced off against Michael Bisping. These 2 spent weeks opposing one another on "The Ultimate Fighter 9" show on Spike. They were the 2 coaches on the show hoping to get one of there teams fighters a 6 figure contract in the UFC. Throughout the entire show Bisping talked and talked and talked all kinds of trash. Oh did I mention he (Bisping) is from the UK!!! He would consistently say how UK fighters are better than American fighters and Blah!!! Well I guess he found out the hard way about what fighters are better. That KO was in the 2nd round of the fight Saturday night. Nothing made me happier that night than that KO of Bisping. Well other than winning a burrito from Chipotle. I guess that will keep Bispings mouth from writing checks that his butt can't cash. U.S.A!!! All the Way
