Quickly re-arrested after pretending to be a cop.
Inspector Tim Oleksiak talks with WTAM's Darren Toms(Cleveland) - Nine years in prison for the Parma man convicted of raping his 15-year old step-niece. 45-year old Scott Blazer was convicted of raping the girl last Monday.
He was taken to a justice center booking room and that's when he duped a corrections officer into believing he was a Parma Police detective. The c-o buzzed him out of the justice center after being fooled.
Blazer was re-apprehended about an hour later on Public Square. He was sentenced for the rape Monday and he was also arraigned on new charges stemming from his brief flight to freedom. He was arraigned on escape and impersonating an officer charges.
