Medina General Hospital joins Cleveland Clinic
Medical center now known as Medina Hospital.

President Rob Stall talks with WTAM's Darren Toms about the change

(Medina)
- Medina General Hospital is now just Medina Hospital. The name change Monday comes as the medical center announced that it’s joining Cleveland Clinic.

Medina hospital is the ninth regional hospital to join Cleveland Clinic.

Medina Hospital President Rob Stall says the move allows them to improve efficiency and quality of services by leveraging the Cleveland Clinic name. They can also enhance access to some specialty services that Medina General did not have.

Stall says they met with other hospitals that have joined Cleveland Clinic to assess their experience. He says they were given glowing reviews.

Stall also says they'll be able to join Cleveland Clinic’s electronic medical records system "My Chart".

You will be seeing new signage and logos for Medina Hospital.
