(Cleveland) - A Todd Rundgren exhibit opens today at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
It spans more than 4 decades of Rundgren’s career. As a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, plus his innovative work integrating music and technology.
The exhibit contains 40 artifacts, including Rundgren's "Back to the Bars" stage outfit from 1978, and the "No World Order" CD-ROM...the first ever interactive record album.
The display will also highlight Rundgren's first top 20 single, as well as his work with utopia, Ringo's All Starr Band, the New Cars, his production work for artists including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Patti Smith, the New York Dolls, the Psychedelic Furs and Meat Loaf.
Rundgren also performs at Akron's Civic Theatre this Sunday and Monday with his 1973 album "A Wizard/A True Star" presented live in its entirety.
