(Fairview Park)
- A black family in the Cleveland area says they found a noose in their front yard and a note telling them to ``Get Out.''

Police in the suburb of Fairview Park have responded with extra patrolling in the neighborhood.

Frederick Howery says his two daughters discovered a rope knotted into a noose at a base of a tree on Sunday, along with the note, signed ``Aryan Knights of Fairview Park.'' the note also bore a swastika.

Howery says his family has lived in the integrated neighborhood for nine months and never experienced any trouble before.

Cleveland NAACP executive director Stanley Miller says the incident shows racism is alive and well.
