(Cleveland) - When the Cavaliers team shop opens at 10:00 this morning, there will be something new on the racks.
Shaquille O'Neal #33 jersies!
It's been less than a week since the Cavaliers traded Ben Wallace and Sacha Pavlovic to the Phoenix Suns for the perennial NBA all-star.
Why #33? It's the number O'Neal wore at Louisiana State University before being drafted #1 by the Orlando Magic in 1992.
At that time, Shaq switched to #32. When he joined the Lakers in 1996, that number had been retired (Magic Johnson), she Shaq became #34. He went back to #32 with the Miami Heat and then the Suns.
Cavaliers spokesman Tad Carper says they anticipate strong sales for O'Neal's jersey.
