Man dies after accident in Stow.
(Stow) - A Stow man has likely been electrocuted after a crash.
At 1:45AM Tuesday, the Stow Police Department received a call of a crash in front of 4923 Heights Dr. Upon arrival of the officer, a single pickup truck was found off the side of the road. 19-year-old Steven Slekovich was lying beside the truck.
Investigation revealed the vehicle was driven left of center off the roadway and collided with an on-ground electrical transformer, and the vehicle came to rest.

The reason Slekovich drove off the roadway has not yet been determined.
Two witnesses said they heard the crash, followed by the sound of someone trying to restart the vehicle several times. Following the attempts to restart the engine, one witness saw a flash from the transformer and then nothing more from the area of the truck.

The Summit Metro Crash Response Team responded to the scene and is currently investigating the incident. The cause of death will be determined by the Summit County Medical Examiner.
