Indians stars brighten the day for inner-city kids.
Shopping with the Tribe Photo Gallery.(Westlake) - Members of the Boys & Girls Clubs got to shop with members of the Cleveland Indians at Dick's Sporting Goods in Crocker Park.
Thirty-two children from disadvantaged neighborhoods in Cleveland, and Lorain County were given $100 gift cards, with the players offering their advice on how to spend it.

Ron Soeder, president of the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland says the kids were excited about the chance to meet and spend time with a major league athlete on a personal level.
Indians pitcher David Huff attended the function even though he is scheduled to pitch tonight against the Seattle Mariners. Huff says the effort was well worth it just to see the smiles on so many young faces.
David Huff Trevor CroweTribe outfielder Trevor Crowe added that the players know they are very fortunate to be in the majors and love giving back to the community, especially to an organization like the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Other players taking part included catcher Wyatt Toregas, infielder Chris Gimenez, infielder Jhonny Peralta, and pitcher Tony Sipp.
