(Bath Township) – There was a festive atmosphere as fans waited for LeBron James to arrive at the Barnes & Noble bookstore on West Market Street. It was the superstar’s second book signing session in two days.
A few fans arrived at the store on Friday to be the first in the line to meet King James. Most started showing up several hours before LeBron was scheduled to appear. The St. Vincent-St. Mary Marching Band performed out front as fans were waiting to go inside.

There were cheers and shouts of MVP from the crowd as James walked in, arriving from his home just several blocks away. Those in line said it was well worth the wait, and some even appealed to James to ink a new contract with the Cavaliers as soon as possible.

The King signed copies of his new autobiography behind a desk on the second floor of the store and seemed to enjoy the experience, smiling, shaking hands, and even joking with a few of the fans as they filed by.
Just the day before, Cleveland area fans camped out in tents and sleeping bags for the chance to get LeBron James' autograph on the Cavaliers superstar's new book``Shooting Stars'' at the Borders bookstore in Westlake.

There the line began to form at 3:30 p.m. Thursday for Friday night's signing. Most began showing up at 4am Friday. There was a long line around the block when the store opened at 9 a.m. and wristbands were distributed, reserving a spot in line for the autograph session beginning at 7 p.m.
Wanda Fisher
Store manager Wanda Fisher says fans were very well behaved, and there were no problems. Store workers served orange juice and cookies to those waiting in line. Many says they just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet a superstar up close.
``Shooting Stars,'' is co-authored with Buzz Bissinger, and in it James tells the story of his rise from poverty in Akron, ohio, to hoops prodigy, to NBA celebrity.
